Overview
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Utica, NY starting 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $3,263 to $3,468 per week with guaranteed 48 hours per week on a 2x4 night shift in a hospital emergency department. This opening is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population across the ED, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments, monitor vitals, administer medications and treatments, and respond to acute changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to coordinate triage, throughput, and patient safety; manage emergent conditions (stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure).
- Document accurately in EPIC EMR; contribute to care planning, discharge instructions, and appropriate patient transfers.
- Utilize unit equipment and protocols (e.g., rapid infusor, Arctic Sun) and maintain readiness for pediatric and adult emergencies; participate in floating to support unit needs.
- Uphold standards of care, infection control, and patient advocacy; communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements
- Active NY State Registered Nurse license
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications in hand
- EPIC EMR experience
- Minimum 2+ years ED nursing experience; pediatric exposure preferred; documented travel experience required
- Nursys license verification with ACTIVE NY license and verification of all RN licenses; RTO must be included at submission
- Valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and float to other areas as needed
