We are seeking a gracious, thoughtful, and motivated part-time Banquet & Events Server who can create a sense of luxury while executing guest events. We look forward to connecting with you!Position Summary: The Banquet & Events Server is to ensure guest satisfaction of all who attend banquet functions at the Cliffs Hotel and Spa. Going above and beyond, as needed, to create a unique experience for our guests.Essential Functions of the Job:To set-up, break-down, clean-up all event functions (Tables, Chairs, Linen, AV, Umbrellas, Etc.)Serve & Bus all Event Food & Beverage (Buffets, Plated Meals, Tray Passed Food, Etc.)To demonstrate an attitude of friendly hospitality in every aspect of serviceLearn to read BEO's and prioritize tasksFollow Cliffs Standards of ExcellenceCommunicates pleasantly and courteously with guests, management and co-workersAdjust to changing needs and prioritiesComply fully and consistently with all the hotel conditions of employment and standardsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand/move continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours).Regular heavy lifting required (50 pounds or more).
